Hedrick's Service Now is a local residential heating, air conditioning and plumbing service company and has been in business for 29 years. We have an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau and we have nearly 1000 reviews on our website.  (CallServiceNow.com) We are family owned and operated and currently have 18 employees and we are growing.  We are looking to add a fun, friendly, professional person who has outstanding customer service skills. DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Answering inbound phone calls promptly with enthusiasm
  • Scheduling and dispatching service calls to ensure maximum efficiency without compromising client satisfaction
  • Stellar communication and empathy skills with clients
  • Looking up client history and warranties
  • Dispatching the right technician to the right job
  • Maintaining good working relations with technicians and office team members
  • Managing the dispatch board to keep field personnel on the move and generating revenue
  • Notifying clients ahead of time without fail if the technician is not going to arrive within the  scheduled window
  • Maintaining and forecasting the work schedule several days out
  • Issuing purchase orders
  • Processing credit card payments
  • Processing city permits and scheduling inspections
  • Tracking technician performance numbers with our software
  • Monitoring GPS truck trackers
  • Monitoring emails
  • Billing A/R invoices
  • Posting payments
  • Registering equipment
  • Job costing payroll hours and materials in our software
  • Outbound phone calls to schedule club member visits and follow up on bids
  • Follow up happy calls to clients
  • Tracking of marketing campaigns
  • Daily reporting
  • Assisting with training programs
  • Booking and managing sales leads
  • General office duties such as filing, typing proposals and other correspondence
  • Be "on-call" on a rotating basis to answer and dispatch after-hours calls via a tablet

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience
  • Positive attitude and ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Empathize with clients and provide stellar customer service
  • Experience in Service Titan software is a definite plus!
  • Maintain a pleasant, enthusiastic phone voice
  • Proficient in Excel and Word - test will be given
  • Impeccable attendance
  • Use scripts that are provided
  • Good working knowledge of computer keyboard, smart phones, GPS, data entry, texting and email
  • Flexibility of hours We are open from 7 am to 6 pm. We are a small office so we cross-train and need flexible people to cover whenever anyone else is out for some reason. May need to stay late if work load requires it.
  • Be in the "on-call" rotation to answer and dispatch after hours calls
  • Effective listening skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients, technicians and fellow co-workers
  • Multi-tasking is important
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Familiarity with NE DFW area is a plus but not mandatory, we are located near 635 and Jupiter.
